FAQ

Questions about maintenance

Do you take over a site you did not build?

Yes. We start with an audit: current state, vulnerabilities and configuration, then a remediation list — and only then do we propose maintenance terms.

What if an update breaks the site?

We deploy updates with a fresh backup and, where the project warrants it, in a staging environment. If something breaks we restore and address the cause — that is included in maintenance.

Can you work with our current hosting provider?

Yes, given the necessary access. If the provider environment technically limits the available solutions, we will say so immediately.

What does a security audit cover?

Plugin and theme vulnerabilities, user rights, file permissions, log review for signs of compromise, server configuration and TLS. The result is a prioritised report.
